4-Faceted Gua Sha, Acupoint, Trigger Point Tool Stone, c. 11 x 9.2 x 1.3 cm

This unique tool stone contains an acupoint/trigger point end (the long one), a deep tissue end (on the left) and two gua sha surfaces - the upper convex edge (standard gua sha use) and the deep convex indent on the right (for fingers and toes). The acupoint/trigger point and deep tissue ends provide ergonomic relief from repetitive strain / occupational injuries. These tools enable the practitioner to avoid direct use of the thumb, and uneven, repetitive stress to muscles and joint capsules of both the hand and arm.

Contraindications for gua sha:
Do not scrape over any mole, pimple, varicose veins, skin disorders, wounds or scratches.
Gua sha is not recommended during pregnancy.
Do not use gua sha on the weak or elderly whose skin may be too frail.
Do not use on people with bleeding disorders, who are taking anti-coagulant medication or who have communicable diseases.
When using on the face only use gentle pressure to avoid bruises or marks.
